Order
The Interim Conditions of Practice Order made on16 May 2023 is varied. The conditions are:
1. You must confine any work you undertake for which your HCPC registration is required to day shifts only, and exclude any work carried out as an emergency first responder on either an ambulance or rapid response vehicle.
2. You must ensure that you meet at least once a month with a clinician who is senior to you for a review of your clinical performance.
3. Not less than 10 days before the review of this Order you must submit to the HCPC documentary records of the reviews required by condition (2). The document is not required to be a formal report, and could be a minute of the meeting, but it should identify the clinician, who has reviewed your clinical performance, and it should state whether, in the period covered by the review, you have met the requirements of your role.
4. You must register with, and remain under the care of, a general practitioner.
5. You must inform your general practitioner about these conditions of practice and authorise that person to provide the HCPC with information about your health and any treatment you are receiving.
6. You must keep your professional commitments under review and limit your professional practice in accordance with the advice of your general practitioner, Occupational Health or any specialist whom you might consult.
7. You must cease practising immediately if you are advised to do so by your general practitioner, Occupational Health or any specialist whom you might consult.
8. You must promptly inform the HCPC if you then cease to undertake the role.
9. You must promptly inform the HCPC of any restrictions imposed, or any disciplinary proceedings taken against you, by your employer.
10. You must inform your employer that your registration is subject to these conditions.
Notes
This order will be reviewed by the Committee no later than 17 August 2024 or earlier if new evidence which is relevant to the Order becomes available after it was made.
