Your fitness to practise as a Clinical Psychologist is impaired by reason of your physical and/or mental health.
Proceeding in private
1. Ms Knight on behalf of the HCPC applied for the entirety of the hearing to be in private as it related to the health of the Registrant. The Panel having heard the advice of the Legal Assessor, directed that as this hearing related to the health of the Registrant, the entirety of the proceedings should be in private.
2. The Registrant was employed by the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust (the Trust) as a Clinical Psychologist. In 2012 the Trust investigated concerns relating to his record keeping. The Registrant admitted that he had failed to keep accurate and timely records over a period of two years. In the course of an investigation the Trust identified health concerns as a possible cause of the failings. The matter was referred to the HCPC.
4. Having determined that the Registrant’s fitness to practise is no longer impaired, the Panel revokes the present Conditions of Practice Order with immediate effect.
ORDER: The Registrar is directed to revoke the Conditions of Practice Order against the registration of Dr William Bratby with immediate effect.
