Order: The Interim Conditions of practice Order made on 20 November 2017 is confirmed. The Conditions are:

(1) You must not carry out Grade 5 spinal manipulations.

(2) You must maintain a record of every case where you have undertaken any assessment or treatment of a patient in relation to spinal physiotherapy.

(3) You must provide to the HCPC on a monthly basis your patient records in respect of any patient on whom you have carried out spinal physiotherapy.  The records for each calendar month are to be provided by the 7th day of the following month, i.e. for May 2018, by the 07 June 2018, and continuing thereafter.

(4) You must promptly inform the HCPC if you cease to practise as a sole practitioner and of any change in your employment status and/or if you take up any employment as a physiotherapist.

(5) You must promptly inform the HCPC of any disciplinary proceedings taken against you whilst practising as a physiotherapist.

(6) You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to these conditions:

A. any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;
B. any agency you are registered with or apply to be registered with (at the time of application); and
C. any prospective employer (at the time of your application).

(7) Any condition requiring you to provide any information to the HCPC is to be met by you sending the information to the offices of the HCPC, marked for the attention of the Director of Fitness to Practise or Head of Case Management.



This Order will be reviewed by the Committee no later than 12 February 2019 or earlier if new evidence which is relevant to the Order becomes available after it was made.
