The Interim Conditions of Practice Order made on 25 May2018 is varied. The conditions are:

1. You must confine your professional practice as a Physiotherapist to seeing patients in person.

2. You must maintain a record of every case where you have undertaken physiotherapy. This record must be contemporaneously signed by the patient. It must also be confirmed in writing by a printed name, signature and date, by another registered Physiotherapist (the Physiotherapist need not be present at the time the consultation takes place, but must satisfy themselves that the consultation has taken place).

3. The record referred to in condition 2 for each calendar month should be provided to the HCPC within seven days of the end of the month. If no physiotherapy treatment is undertaken during the month you must confirm that there have been no cases during that month.

4. You must promptly inform the HCPC in writing within 14 days of any disciplinary proceedings taken against you by your employer or in relation to your self-employment.

5. You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to these conditions:

A. any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work as a physiotherapist;

B. any agency you are registered with or apply to be registered with (at the time of application); and

C. any prospective employer (at the time of your application).

6. You will be responsible for meeting any and all costs associated with complying with these conditions.

This order will be reviewed by the Committee no later than 6 December 2018 or earlier if new evidence which is relevant to the Order becomes available after it was made.
