Order

The Interim Conditions of Practice Order that was made on 2
October 2017 is confirmed, subject to the amendment to first condition as set out below.


The Interim Conditions of Practice Order is as follows:


1. You must not, on your own, assess or treat female patients in either NHS, private or voluntary settings while the HCPC’s fitness to practise process is ongoing, save for the treatment of female patients during the course of your employment at the Priory Hospital Cheadle Royal, Manchester, when subject to monitoring by CCTV.

2. You must identify a supervisor who is a registered practitioner psychologist with experience of working with patients with complex presentations.

3. You must, within 14 days of this order taking effect, notify the HCPC of the name, job title and professional contact details of that supervisor.

4. You must meet at least monthly with that supervisor to discuss individual patients and your practice generally.

5. You must obtain a report from your supervisor, which you must submit to the HCPC before any future review of this order, which addresses, amongst other things, your formulation of presentation and risk assessment, your use of explicit and agreed plans for intervention, and your management of professional boundaries.

6. You must notify your employer of these conditions of practice and provide written evidence to the HCPC for a future review panel that they are aware of those conditions and that you are compliant with the conditions.

8. You must promptly inform the HCPC if you cease to be employed by your current employer or take up any other or further employment.

9. You must promptly inform the HCPC of any disciplinary
proceedings taken against you by your employer.

10.You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to these conditions:
a) any organisation or person employing or contracting with
you to undertake professional work;
b) any agency you are registered with or apply to be registered with (at the time of application); and
c) any prospective employer (at the time of your application).
