Order

The Panel varied the Interim Conditions of Practice Order as follows:

1)  You must inform the HCPC within 14 days of obtaining employment as a registered social worker.

2)  You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to these conditions (1 – 8 herein):

a) Any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional social work;

b) Any agency you are registered with or apply to be registered with as a social worker at the time of application;

c) Any prospective employer at the time of application as a social worker.

3)  You must place yourself and remain under the supervision of a named supervisor registered by the HCPC or other appropriate statutory regulator and supply details of your supervisor to the HCPC within 1 month of gaining employment. You must attend upon that supervisor as required and follow their advice and recommendations.

4)  You must work with a supervisor to formulate a Personal Development Plan (PDP) designed to address the following:

a) Record-keeping;

b) Production of care plans and risk assessments as applicable

5)  You must forward a copy of the PDP to the HCPC within three months of commencing employment.

6)  You must meet with your supervisor on a monthly basis to consider your progress towards achieving the aims set out in your PDP.

7)  You must allow your supervisor to provide information to the HCPC about your progress towards achieving the aims set out in your PDP.

8)  You must promptly inform the HCPC of any disciplinary proceedings taken against you by your employer.

Notes

This order will be reviewed by the Committee no later than 13 November 2019.
