Order

The Interim Conditions of Practice Order made on 12 May 2017 is varied.


1. Before undertaking any work as a physiotherapist you must:

A. Satisfactorily complete a period of refresher training in accordance with HCPC guidance on returning to practice which can include supervised practice, and

B. Provide evidence that you have satisfactorily completed that training to the HCPC.
 
2. You must confine your practice to employment with non-Mental Health Service Providers.

3. You must place yourself and remain under the supervision of a physiotherapist registered with the HCPC and supply details of your supervisor to the HCPC within 14 days of commencing employment.
 
4. You must meet with your supervisor every fortnight and follow their advice and recommendations. At these supervision meetings your current case load and documentation in patient notes should be reviewed.
 
5. You must provide to the HCPC a report from your supervisor regarding your performance and case documentation for the consideration of an HCPTS Panel at any review of this Interim Order.
 
6. You must promptly inform the HCPC if you take up any employment as a physiotherapist.
 
7. You must promptly inform the HCPC of any disciplinary proceedings taken against you by your employer.
 
8. You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to these interim conditions:
 
a. Any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;
 
b. Any agency you are registered with or apply to be registered with (at the time of application); and
 
c. Any prospective employer (at the time of application).
 

 

Notes

This order will be reviewed by the Committee no later than 01 May 2019 or earlier if new evidence which is relevant to the Order becomes available after it was made.
