Order

ORDER: The Registrar is directed to annotate the Register on an interim basis to show that, for a period of 18 months, you, Mr Anthony M Glennon, must comply with the following conditions of practice:

1. You must not be involved in the direct provision of any physiotherapy assessment or treatment of female service users without a chaperone being present. The chaperone must be a UK registered health care professional.

2. You must maintain a record of every case where you have provided any physiotherapy assessment or treatment of female service users, in each case signed by the chaperone.

3. You must provide a copy of these chaperone records to the HCPC on or by 31 October 2019, and every two months thereafter.

4. You must make these chaperone records available for inspection at all reasonable times by any person authorised to act on behalf of the HCPC.

5. You must promptly inform the HCPC if you cease to be employed by your current employer or cease to be contracted for physiotherapy services with any current contractors.

6. You must promptly inform the HCPC if you take up any other or further employment or take on new contracts for physiotherapy services.

7. You must promptly inform the HCPC of any disciplinary proceedings taken against you by an employer or contractor for physiotherapy services.

8. You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to these conditions:

A. any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;

B. any agency you are registered with or apply to be registered with (at the time of application); and

C. any prospective employer / contractor for physiotherapy services (at the time of your application) for either paid or unpaid work.

9. You will be responsible for meeting any and all costs associated with complying with these conditions.

10. Any condition requiring you to provide any information to the HCPC is to be met by you sending the information to the offices of the HCPC, marked for the attention of the Director of Fitness to Practise or Head of Case Management.

Notes

This Order will be reviewed by the Committee no later than 2 March 2020 or earlier if new evidence which is relevant to the Order becomes available after it was made.
