The Interim Conditions of Practice Order imposed on 9 October 2018 is varied.  The revised conditions are:  

1)You must only work in a role which requires HCPC registration if you are under the direct supervision of a senior physiotherapist (at Band 6 or above) registered by the HCPC. This means you can only provide treatment to a service user when your supervisor is physically present.  You must supply details of the supervisor to the HCPC within 21 days of starting work.

2)You must obtain a report from your supervisor regarding your clinical performance and progress in relation to core physiotherapy competencies, and supply the HCPC with a copy of that report at least 21 days prior to any review of this Interim Order.

3)You must promptly inform the HCPC if you take up any employment that requires HCPC registration.

4)You must promptly inform the HCPC of any disciplinary proceedings taken against you by any employer.

5)You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to these conditions:

A. any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;

B. any agency you are registered with or apply to be registered with (at the time of application); and

C. any prospective employer (at the time of your application).
