Order
The Registrar is directed to annotate the Register on an interim basis to show that, for a period of 18 months, you, Miss Debbie Porter, must comply with the following conditions of practice:
1. When carrying out your duties as a Paramedic, you must always be crewed with another Paramedic who will have the role of clinical lead. (i.e. you must not practise as a sole paramedic)
2. You must have supervision sessions of not more than 8 weeks apart.
3. You must allow your supervisor to provide information to the HCPC about your performance as a Paramedic in accordance with the HCPC’s guidance for registered Paramedics.
4. Before each review of this Order, you must provide the HCPC with the records of your supervision sessions that have taken place after the imposition of this Order or since the last review of this Order, whichever is the later.
5. You must promptly inform the HCPC if you cease to be employed by your current employer or take up any other or further employment.
6. You must promptly inform the HCPC of any disciplinary proceedings taken against you by your employer.
7. You must immediately inform the following parties that that you are subject to this Conditions of Practice Order under the HCPC's fitness to practise procedures, and disclose the conditions listed above, to them:
a) Any organisation or person employing, contracting with, or using you to undertake work as a Paramedic;
b) Any agency you are registered with or apply to be registered with to work as a Paramedic (at the time of application):
c) Any prospective employer with whom you are seeking employment as a Paramedic (prior to starting work for them);
8. You must notify the HCPC within 14 days of any Paramedic appointment (whether paid or unpaid) you accept within the UK or elsewhere, and provide the HCPC with contact details of your employer.
Notes
This order will be reviewed by the Committee no later than 27 July 2020 or earlier if new evidence which is relevant to the Order becomes available after it was made.
