The Interim Conditions of Practice Order made on 19 September 2019 and varied on 23 January 2020 is confirmed. The conditions are:
1. You must identify a named person (the "Named Person") who is a member of a regulated profession, wherever you work as an ODP, to monitor, in the role of a supervisor, your behaviour and adherence to employer's policies and procedures.

2. You must provide a copy of these Interim Conditions of Practice to your Named Person(s).

3. You must, with your Named Person(s), produce a structured programme of supervision that addresses:

a) your compliance with policies and procedures;
b) your behaviour towards colleagues in the workplace.
4. You must meet with your Named Person(s) monthly or at the end of each assignment, whichever happens first, to update your supervision programme and record how you are addressing a) and b) above.

5. You must supply to the HCPC, not less than 14 days prior to any review of this Interim Conditions of Practice Order, a copy of your updated supervision programme and meeting records, signed by your Named Person(s) and including their registration and contact details.

6. You will be responsible for meeting any and all costs associated with complying with these conditions.

7. You must promptly inform the HCPC when you take up any employment in the role of a registered ODP.

8. You must promptly inform the HCPC of any disciplinary proceedings or complaints identified by your employer.

9. You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to these conditions:

a) any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;
b) any agency you are registered with or apply to be registered with (at the time of application); and
c) any prospective employer (at the time of your application).


This order will be reviewed by the Committee no later than 10 September 2020 or earlier if new evidence which is relevant to the order becomes available after it was made.
