Order
ORDER: The Interim Conditions of Practice Order is confirmed.
1. You must promptly inform the HCPC if you cease to be employed by your current employer or take up any other or further employment requiring HCPC registration.
2. You must promptly inform the HCPC of any disciplinary proceedings taken against you by any employer.
3. You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to these conditions:
A. any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;
B. any agency you are registered with or apply to be registered with (at the time of application); and
C. any prospective employer (at the time of your application).
4. Whilst undertaking a role which requires HCPC registration, you must place yourself and remain under the direct supervision of a workplace supervisor, registered by the HCPC as a Paramedic. Direct supervision means working with a Paramedic of more than two years post qualifying experience at all times.
5. You must supply details (name and position) of your supervisor to the HCPC within 14 days of the Operative Date.
6. You must attend upon that supervisor as required and follow their advice and recommendations.
7. You must meet with your supervisor every four weeks to discuss your performance and development in the following areas:
· Patient history taking
· Patient record keeping
· Patient assessment and investigations
· Patient treatment plans
· Patient onward care, clinical decision making and appropriate use of alternative care pathways.
8. You must submit four-weekly performance reviews from your workplace supervisor, to provide information to the HCPC about your performance and development in respect of the areas identified above, prior to the next interim order review.
9. You will be responsible for meeting any and all costs associated with complying with these conditions.
Notes
This order will be reviewed by the Committee no later than 29 September 2021 or earlier if new evidence which is relevant to the Order becomes available after it was made.
