ORDER: The Interim Conditions of Practice Order made on 19 December 2023. The Conditions of Practice Order are:

1. You must confine your professional practice as a Paramedic solely to being employed by the Scottish Ambulance Service within the Clinical Hub Team.

2. You must arrange for the provision of reports from your occupational health specialist to the HCPC, prior to every review hearing, covering:
• compliance with treatment,
• current medication,
• prognosis.

3. You must keep your professional commitments under review and limit your professional practice in accordance with the advice of your GP or any health specialist.

4. You must cease practising immediately if you are advised to do so by your GP or any health specialist. You must inform the HCPC within seven days of receiving this advice.

5. You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you cease to be employed by your current employer.

6. You must inform the HCPC within seven days of becoming aware of:
A. any patient safety incident you are involved in;
B. any investigation started against you; and
C. any disciplinary proceedings taken against you.

7. You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to these conditions:
A. Scottish Ambulance Service;
B. Any organisation through which you are undertaking professional training;
C. any healthcare professional involved with your current treatment;
D. the occupational health provider for Scottish Ambulance Service;

This order will be reviewed by the Committee no later than 25 September 2024 or earlier if new evidence which is relevant to the Order becomes available after it was made.

Right to Apply to the Court
Under Article 31(12) of the Health Professions Order 2001, you may apply to the appropriate court to revoke or vary the conditions imposed.
