Order
The Registrar is directed to vary the current Interim Conditions of Practice Order for the remainder of the term, as follows:
1. You must not undertake work or consultations with any female service users (either when working alone or when working with colleague(s)) and must confine your professional practice to treating male patients only, at the Rose Clinic.
2. You must not carry out visits to a service user’s private residence.
3. You must not be involved in the training or supervision or mentorship of: students / colleagues / other healthcare professionals / members of the public other than male students from an HCPC approved education training provider.
4. You must not carry out any locum or agency work.
5. You must maintain a record of every case you undertake and you must:
A) provide a copy of these records to the HCPC on a three-monthly basis, the first report to be provide within three months of the Operative Date; and
B) make those records available for inspection at all reasonable times by any person authorised to act on behalf of the HCPC.
C) ensure that the records comply with the following requirements:
(i) the records provide the dates and times of which you have undertaken any type of work as a physiotherapist;
(ii) the records set out the nature and type of work or procedure performed.
6. You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you cease your employment or physiotherapy practice at the Rose Clinic.
7. You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you take up any other or further professional work.
8. You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you take up work requiring registration with a professional body outside the United Kingdom
9. You must inform the HCPC within seven days of returning to practice in the United Kingdom.
10. You must inform the HCPC within seven days of becoming aware of:
A. any patient safety incident you are involved it;
B. any investigation started against you; and
C. any disciplinary proceedings taken against you.
Notes
This order will be reviewed by the Committee no later than 6 September 2025 or earlier if new evidence which is relevant to the Order becomes available after it was made.
