The Interim Conditions of Practice Order imposed on 27 September 2024 is confirmed. The Interim Conditions of Practice Order remains as follows:

1. You must confine your professional practice to a Clinical Advisor-Paramedic role within the 999 clinical hub of the London Ambulance Service NHS Trust.

2. You must not carry out face to face clinical assessment unless directly supervised by a HCPC registered paramedic or another suitable healthcare professional.

3. Except in life threatening emergencies you must not undertake unsupervised face to face clinical work as a registered paramedic.

4. You must not undertake unsupervised face to face clinical work/consultations as a registered paramedic with individual service users on a one- to-one basis.

5. You must not carry out locum or agency work.

6. You must not carry out professional work in a private practice setting.

7. You must not carry out visits to a service user’s private residence.

8. You must place yourself and remain under the direct supervision of a workplace supervisor who is registered by the HCPC or other appropriate statutory regulator and supply details of your supervisor to the HCPC within 2 weeks of 27 September 2024. You must attend upon that supervisor as required and follow their advice and recommendations. You are required to provide an updated report from your supervisor on your progress and performance at least 2 weeks before any review hearing.

9. You must remain under the care of a General Practitioner and Occupational Health and inform them that you are subject to these conditions.

11. You will be responsible for meeting any and all costs associated with complying with these conditions.

13. You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you cease to be employed by your current employer.

14. You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you take up any other or further professional work.

15. You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you take up work requiring registration with a professional body outside the United Kingdom.

16. You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you are subject to any disciplinary procedures or complaints.

17. You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to these conditions:

• Your employer and your workplace supervisor.

This Interim Order is due to be reviewed by 01 July 2025.
