Order

The Panel determined to impose an Interim Conditions of Practice Order for 18 months. 

The conditions are as follows:
1. You must only provide professional services as a physiotherapist for one substantive employer (which must not be an agency).

2. Except in life threatening emergencies, you must not be involved in the direct provision of services to female service users.

3. You must only provide professional services as a physiotherapist at your employer’s place of business, and you must not carry out visits to a service users private residence. A HCPC registered physiotherapist must be present at the place of business at all times when you are providing such services.

4. You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you take up professional work as a Physiotherapist.

5. You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you cease to be employed as a Physiotherapist.

6. You must inform the HCPC within seven days of becoming aware of:
a. any patient safety incident you are involved in;
b. any investigation started against you; and
c. any disciplinary proceedings taken against you.

7. You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to these conditions:
a. any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;
b. any prospective employer for professional work (at the time of your application);
c. any organisation through which you are undertaking professional training;
d. any supervisor required by these conditions.

8. You must allow the HCPC to share, as necessary, details about your performance, compliance with, and / or progress under these conditions with:
a. any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;
b. any prospective employer for professional work (at the time of your application);
c. any organisation through which you are undertaking professional training.

9. You will be responsible for meeting any and all costs associated with complying with these conditions.

10. Any condition requiring you to provide information to the HCPC is to be met by you sending the information to the offices of the HCPC, marked for the attention of the relevant case manager.

This order will be reviewed by the Committee no later than 12 May 2026.

Right to Apply to the Court
Under Article 31(12) of the Health Professions Order 2001, you may apply to the appropriate court to terminate the order or revoke or vary the conditions imposed.
