Order
ORDER: The Interim Conditions of Practice Order imposed on 07 March 2025 is confirmed with the following conditions:-
1. You are to restrict yourself to working with a single organisation. You must not work for an agency or undertake locum work.
2. You must place yourself and remain under the supervision of a suitably experienced workplace supervisor, who must be registered by the HCPC or another appropriate statutory regulator.
3. Should there be a change you must supply detail of your supervisor to the HCPC within 14 days. You must attend upon your supervisor twice every month.
4. You must give your supervisor access to the patient records for all the patients under your care so that your supervisor can conduct an audit of your written records every fortnight. This is to ensure that your patient records are in line with HCPC standards and in particular that you are:
a. Recording patient notes on the electronic patient records in a timely manner;
b. Completing actions and follow ups as required;
c. Reviewing appointment bookings;
d. Ensuring that care plans are undertaken;
e. Completing correspondence to other professionals in respect of patients.
5. You must discuss with your supervisor in your supervision sessions:
a. The details of your audited patient records;
b. Your training needs;
c. Your wellbeing and time-management.
6. Prior to any future HCPC hearing, a written report and copies of all audits from your workplace supervisor should be supplied to the HCPC addressing the issues outlined in paragraph 5 and 6. This should be provided at least seven days before any hearing.
7. You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you change employers.
8. You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you take up work requiring registration with a professional body outsider the United Kingdom.
9. You must inform the HCPC within seven days of becoming aware of:
a. Any patient safety incident that you are involved in
b. Any investigation started against you;
c. Any disciplinary proceedings taken against you.
10. You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to these conditions:
a. Any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;
b. Any prospective employer (at the time of your application);
11. You must allow the HCPC to share, as necessary, details about your performance, compliance with, and/or progress under these conditions with:
a. Any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;
b. Any prospective employer (at the time of your application);
c. Any organisation through which you are undertaking professional training.
Notes
This Order will be reviewed by the Committee no later than 23 January 2026 or earlier if new evidence which is relevant to the Order becomes available after it was made.
