The Interim Conditions of Practice Order imposed on 17 February 2025 is confirmed. The conditions are:
1. You must arrange for a hair strand test covering at least a 3 month test period, from a recognised forensic testing laboratory, the results of which you must submit to the HCPC within seven days of receipt.

2. You are prohibited from professional practice, until the HCPC confirms in writing its receipt of and satisfaction with your hair strand test result.

3. On completion of 3 months of professional practice, you must arrange for another hair strand test covering at least a 3 month test period, from a recognised forensic testing laboratory, which you must also submit to the HCPC within seven days of receipt.

4. You must consult with the Occupational Health department of any future employer with respect to a phased return to work. You must provide a report to the HCPC from the Occupational Health department about your progress before the next Interim Order Review hearing.

5. You must attend regular meetings or any other recognised support group and provide confirmation to the HCPC of your attendance at such meetings. Where possible this should include independent evidence of your attendance from the support group leader or other similar evidence.

7. You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you cease to be employed by your current employer.

8. You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you take up any other or further professional work.

9. You must inform the HCPC within seven days of becoming aware of:
a. any patient safety incident you are involved in;
b. any investigation started against you; and
c. any disciplinary proceedings taken against you.

10. You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to these conditions:
a. any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;
b. any agency you are registered with or apply to be registered with to undertake professional work (at the time of application);
c. any prospective employer for professional work (at the time of your application);
d. any healthcare professional involved with your current treatment;
e. the occupational health provider for your employer.

11. You must allow the HCPC to share, as necessary, details about your performance, compliance with, and/or progress under these conditions with:
a. any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;
b. any agency you are registered with or apply to be registered with to undertake professional work (at the time of application);
c. any prospective employer for professional work (at the time of your application);
d. any medical professional involved with your current treatment;
e. the occupational health provider for your current employer.

12. You will be responsible for meeting any and all costs associated with complying with these conditions.

Right to Apply to the Court
Under Article 31(12) of the Health Professions Order 2001, you may apply to the appropriate court to revoke or vary the conditions imposed.
