Order

The Interim Conditions of Practice Order imposed on 17 April 2025, for a period of 18 months, is confirmed.

Samuel T. Njor must comply with the following interim conditions of practice:

1. You must place yourself and remain under the direct supervision* of a work supervisor registered by the HCPC or other appropriate statutory regulator. You must supply details of that supervisor to the HCPC within 14 days of the Operative Date. You must attend upon that supervisor as required and follow their advice and recommendations.

* Direct supervision means that you may not work as an autonomous practitioner. Your work supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of your work are subject to oversight from a qualified and appropriate professional, although this does not have to be the supervisor themselves unless otherwise specified in the condition.

2. You must not undertake any work as a Practitioner Psychologist unless you have a work supervisor and are subject to direct supervision.

3. You must provide a letter/report from your work supervisor to the HCPC at least 7 days before any future review of your interim order. This report should deal with the fulfilment of your professional role in a safe and effective manner, including specific reference to the following areas:-

• Timely completion of reports
• Appropriate risk assessment
• Appropriate response to safeguarding concerns
• Appropriate conduct of psychometric assessments.
• Appropriately devised psychological formulations and therapeutic interventions.
• Recognition of, and adherence to, working within your own sphere of competence

4. You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you take up work requiring registration with a professional body outside the United Kingdom, and you must inform the HCPC within seven days of returning to practice in the United Kingdom.

5. You must inform the HCPC within seven days of becoming aware of:

A. any patient safety incident you are involved in;

B. any investigation started against you; and

C. any disciplinary and/or competence proceedings taken against you.

6. You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to these conditions:

A. any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;

B. any agency you are registered with or apply to be registered with to undertake professional work (at the time of application);

C. any prospective employer for professional work (at the time of your application);

D. any organisation through which you are undertaking professional training.

7. You must allow the HCPC to share, as necessary, details about your performance, compliance with, and/or progress under these conditions with:

A. any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;

B. any agency you are registered with or apply to be registered with to undertake professional work (at the time of application);

C. any prospective employer for professional work (at the time of your application).

Notes
