The Interim Conditions of Practice Order made on 10 June 2025 is confirmed.

The conditions are: 

1. You must confine your professional practice to a single employer. 

2. You must not be involved in the training or mentoring of students or colleagues. 

3. You must not work alone on shift. You must work alongside a colleague registered either with the HCPC or the Nursing and Midwifery Council, who is of equivalent or higher clinical grade to you.  

4. You must place yourself and remain under the indirect supervision of a workplace supervisor, registered with the HCPC, and supply details of your supervisor to the HCPC within 14 days. 

5. You must meet with that supervisor every four weeks to discuss your understanding of professional boundaries and follow their advice and recommendations. 

6. You must ensure that your supervisor sends a progress report to the HCPC at least 14 days before any HCPC review of this Order. This report should assess your professional performance and comment on your ability to maintain appropriate professional conduct with work colleagues. 

7. You must notify the HCPC within 14 days of any appointment as a Paramedic that you accept within the UK or elsewhere and provide the HCPC with the contact details of your employer. 

8. You must inform the HCPC within 14 days if your employment as a Paramedic is terminated, whether by you or by your employer. 

9. You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to the interim conditions in this Order: 

A. any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work as a Paramedic; 

B. any agency you are registered with or apply to be registered with (at the time of application); and 

C. any prospective employer (at the time of your application).

The Panel noted that the order is due to expire in 10 June 2026, and so no further review will be scheduled unless and until a High Court extension is obtained.

Right to Apply to the Court
Under Article 31(12) of the Health Professions Order 2001, you may apply to the appropriate court to revoke or vary the conditions imposed.
