Order
ORDER: The Interim Conditions of Practice Order is confirmed. The Conditions are as follows:
1. You must not undertake any locum or agency employment as a Radiographer.
2. You must place yourself under the direct supervision of a workplace supervisor registered by the HCPC and supply details of your supervisor to the HCPC within 28 days of them commencing your supervision. You must meet with your supervisor once a month, follow their advice and provide a formal record of all agreed actions taken.
3. You must prepare and implement a personal development plan in conjunction with your supervisor and maintain a record of all CPD undertaken. The personal development plan should include a written reflection on learning achieved. You must forward a copy of the personal development plan to the HCPC within 2 months of the operative date.
4. You must agree with your supervisor the competencies that are required for a Band 5 Radiographer and demonstrate your achievement of these competencies.
5. You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to these conditions:
a. Any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work
b. Any prospective employer for professional work (at the time of your application)
c. Any organisation through which you are undertaking professional training
d. Any supervisor required by these conditions
6. You must allow the HCPC to share, as necessary, details about your performance, compliance with, and/or progress under these conditions with:
a. any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;
b. any prospective employer for professional work (at the time of your application)
c. any organisation through which you are undertaking professional training
7. You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you take up any employment.
8. You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you cease to be employed in any role.
9. You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you take up work requiring registration with a professional body outside the United Kingdom.
10. You must inform the HCPC within seven days of returning to practice in the United Kingdom.
11. You must inform the HCPC within seven days of becoming aware of:
a. Any patient safety incident you are involved in;
b. any investigation started against you; and
c. any disciplinary proceedings taken against you.
Notes
This order will be reviewed by the Committee no later than 19 April 2026, or earlier if new evidence which is relevant to the Order becomes available after it was made.
