The Interim Conditions of Practice Order made on 03 July 2025 is varied. The conditions are:

1. You must confine your professional practice as a registered Paramedic to working directly for an employer and must not undertake any Paramedic work through an agency.

2. You must not carry out any self-employed work as a registered Paramedic.

3. You must inform the HCPC of the full name and address of your employers within seven days of taking up any employment as a registered Paramedic.

4. You must place yourself and remain under the indirect supervision of a workplace supervisor in respect of each and any employment in which you are engaged. The workplace supervisor must be registered by the HCPC or other appropriate statutory regulator and you must supply details of your supervisor to the HCPC within 14 days of the Operative Date of you having commenced that employment. Your supervisor should be made aware of the full details of what is alleged against you. You must attend upon that supervisor as required, at least once a month, and follow their advice and recommendations.

5. You must arrange for a report by each of your supervisors, setting out compliance with the conditions and any areas of concern, to be provided to the HCPC at least 4 weeks prior to any review of this order.

6. You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you take up any other or further professional work as a registered Paramedic.

7. You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you take up work requiring registration with a professional body outside the United Kingdom.

8. You must inform the HCPC within seven days of returning to practice in the United Kingdom.

9. You must inform the HCPC within seven days of becoming aware of:

A. any investigation started against you;

B. and any disciplinary proceedings taken against you.

10. You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to these conditions:

A. any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;

B. any prospective employer for professional work (at the time of your application);

C. any organisation through which you are undertaking professional training.

11. You must allow the HCPC to share, as necessary, details about your performance, compliance with, and/or progress under these conditions with:

A. any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;

B. any prospective employer for professional work (at the time of your application);

C. any organisation through which you are undertaking professional training.

This order will be reviewed by the Committee no later than 05 April 2026 or earlier if new evidence which is relevant to the Order becomes available after it was made.
