ORDER: The Registrar is directed to impose the following conditions on the registration of Mr Brian Adamson for the remainder of the period of the Order (namely until 30 April 2027) 

1.    You must not work in a role requiring professional registration;
A.    alone; or
B.    with colleagues who are junior to you in terms of seniority and experience.

2.    You must place yourself, and remain, under the indirect supervision of a supervisor, registered by the HCPC or other appropriate statutory regulator and supply details of your supervisor to the HCPC within 14 days of the Operative Date. You must attend upon that supervisor as required and follow their advice and recommendations.

3.    You must meet with your supervisor on a monthly basis to consider the following:
A.    Equality and diversity;
B.    Communication;
C.    Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics

4.    You must allow your supervisor to provide information to the HCPC not less than 14 days in advance of any review of this order.

5.    Within 3 months of the Operative Date you should complete training in the following areas:
A.    Equality and diversity;
B.    Communication;
C.    Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics

6.    You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you take up or cease employment as a Paramedic.

7.    You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you take up any work requiring registration with a professional body outside the United Kingdom.

8.    You must inform the HCPC within seven days of returning to practice in the United Kingdom.

9.    You must inform the HCPC within seven days of becoming aware of:
A.    any investigation started against you; and
B.    any disciplinary proceedings taken against you.

10.    You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to these conditions:
A.    any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;
B.    any prospective employer (at the time of your application).

This order will be reviewed by the Committee no later than 14 October 2026 or earlier if new evidence which is relevant to the Order becomes available after it was made. 

Right to Apply to the Court
Under Article 31(12) of the Health Professions Order 2001, you may apply to the appropriate court to revoke or vary the conditions imposed
