ORDER: The Registrar is directed to impose conditions on Mr Adam Biles on an interim basis for a period of 18 months.dds
 
The Conditions are as follows:

1. When treating diabetic patients and/or patients with ulceration (both in private practice and the NHS), you must place yourself and remain under the direct supervision of at least a Band 7 Chiropodist/Podiatrist, registered by the HCPC and supply details of your supervisor to the HCPC within 2 weeks of the Operative Date (5 March 2026). You must follow your supervisor’s advice and recommendations.
2. You must maintain a record of every case where you have been involved in the direct provision of services to diabetic patients and/or patients with ulceration. Each case must be signed by your supervisor and contain their name and the date of treatment.
3. You must provide a copy of these records to the HCPC on a monthly basis. The first report must be provided within 4 weeks of the Operative Date or, alternatively, confirm that there have been no such cases during that period. You must make those records available for inspection at all reasonable times by any person authorised to act on behalf of the HCPC.
4. You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you cease to be employed by your current employer.
5. You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you take up any other or further professional work.
6. You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you take up work requiring registration with a professional body outside the United Kingdom.
7. You must inform the HCPC within seven days of returning to practice in the United Kingdom.
8. You must inform the HCPC within seven days of becoming aware of:
   1. any patient safety incident you are involved in;
   2. any investigation started against you; and
   3. any disciplinary proceedings taken against you.
9. You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to these conditions:
   1. any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;
   2. any agency you are registered with or apply to be registered with to undertake professional work (at the time of application);
   3. any prospective employer for professional work (at the time of your application); and
   4. any organisation through which you are undertaking professional training.
10. You must allow the HCPC to share, as necessary, details about your performance, compliance with, and/or progress under these conditions with:
    1. any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;
    2. any agency you are registered with or apply to be registered with to undertake professional work (at the time of application);
    3. any prospective employer for professional work (at the time of your application); and
    4. any organisation through which you are undertaking professional training.

This Order will be reviewed by a Committee no later than 5 September 2026 or earlier if new evidence which is relevant to the Order becomes available after it was made.

Right to Apply to the Court

Under Article 31(12) of the Health Professions Order 2001, you may apply to the appropriate court to revoke or vary the conditions imposed.
