The Interim Conditions of Practice Order made on 29 July 2025 is varied. The conditions are:

1.    You must confine your professional practice as a Paramedic to working for no more than two employers at any one time and you must not carry out any agency or locum work in that capacity.

2.    You must provide details of this employment to the HCPC within 14 days of accepting the employment.

3.    You must place yourself and remain under the indirect supervision of a supervisor from each organisation who you work for. That supervisor must be registered with the HCPC or other statutory regulator.

4.    You must supply details of each supervisor to the HCPC within 14 days of gaining employment. You must attend supervision with your supervisor as required and follow their advice and recommendations.

5.    You must meet with each supervisor once a month and work with your supervisors to discuss your decision making in respect of your caseload and your adherence to HCPC standards of professional conduct.

6.    You must allow each supervisor to provide information to the HCPC about your progress in managing your caseload and your adherence to professional standards and provide a report to the HCPC no later than 14 days before any review hearing.

7.    You must promptly inform the HCPC of any disciplinary proceedings taken against you by your employer.

8.    You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to these conditions:

a)    Any organisation or person, employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;

b)   Any agency you are registered with, or apply to be registered with (at the time of application); and

c)    Any prospective employer (at the time of your application).

This Order will be reviewed by the Committee no later than 27 August 2026, or earlier if new evidence which is relevant to the Order becomes available after it was made.
