Order: The Registrar is directed to annotate the Register on an interim basis to show that for a period of 18 months, you, Mr Lawrence Matenga, must:

1. Before working as a Social Worker, you must place yourself and remain under the supervision of a supervisor registered by the HCPC or other appropriate statutory regulator operating at a management level and provide details of your supervisor to the HCPC within 7 days of the arrangement being agreed.

2. Within 3 months of appointing a supervisor, undertake and complete a Professional Boundaries Course.

3. The course referred to in Condition 2 must be approved by your supervisor.

4. You must provide to the HCPC, at least 14 days before each review hearing, a written report demonstrating what you have learned about professional boundaries and the practical steps you have taken to incorporate this learning into your professional and personal life as a Registered Social Worker.

5. Your supervisor must sign the written report referred to in Condition 4 to confirm that you have complied with this requirement.

6. You must notify the following parties that your registration is subject to these conditions:

A. Any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake work as a Social Worker;

B. Any agency you are registered with or apply to be registered with (at the time of application) and

C. Any prospective employer (at the time of application).



This order will be reviewed by the Committee no later than 1 March 2018 or earlier if new evidence which is relevant to the Order becomes available after it was made.
