Order

The Registrar is directed to annotate the Register to show that, for a period of 12 months from the date this Order comes into effect, you, Mr Timothy F Johnson, must comply with the following conditions of practice:
1. Except in life threatening emergencies, you must not be involved in the direct provision of audiology and aural care services to female service users without a chaperone being present. The services are provided directly if they are provided when the female service user is present in the same room.
2. You must maintain a log confirming that a chaperone was present of every case where you have been involved in the direct provision of audiology and aural care services to female service users, in each case signed by the Registrant, the chaperone and the service user.
3. You must maintain a log of every case where you have been involved in the direct provision of audiology and aural care services to female service users in a life threatening emergency and without a chaperone being present.
4. You must provide a copy of these records to the HCPC on a calendar month basis, the first report to be provided by 7 December 2017 (covering November 2017) and must make those records available for inspection at all reasonable times by any person authorised to act on behalf of the HCPC.
5. You must inform each chaperone of the content of the Panel’s public decision dated 20 October 2017.
