Finding
The Panel was satisfied that an Interim Conditions of Practice Order remains appropriate and
proportionate and is sufficient to meet the risks identified in respect of both public protection and public interest.
Order
ORDER: The Registrar is directed to annotate the Register with the Interim Conditions of Practice Order as follows:
1. You must place yourself and remain under the indirect supervision of a Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical or Counselling) registered with the HCPC. You must supply details of this supervisor to the HCPC within one month of the Operative Date. You must attend upon that supervisor as required and follow their advice and recommendations.
2. You must work with the supervisor to maintain and continue a Personal Development Plan designed to address any concerns identified with regard to your record-keeping and/or clinical practice.
3. You must allow your supervisor to provide information to the HCPC about your progress towards achieving the aims set out in your Personal Development Plan.
4. You must maintain a record of every professional interaction, which you have with a patient, in accordance with the record-keeping policy of your employer, and the HCPC Standards, and you must:
A. Provide a copy of these records to the HCPC every two months, the first report to be provided with into months of the Operative Date, or confirm that there have been no such cases during that period; and
B. Make those records available for inspection at all reasonable times by any person authorised to act on behalf of the HCPC.
5. You must promptly inform the HCPC if you cease to be employed by your current employer or take up any other or further employment.
6. You must promptly inform the HCPC of any disciplinary proceedings taken against you by your employer.
7. You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to these conditions:
A. Any organisation or person, employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;
B. Any agency you are registered with, or apply to be registered with (at the time of application); and
C. Any prospective employer (at the time of your application).
Notes
This order will be reviewed by the Committee no later than 14 June 2024, or earlier if new evidence which is relevant to the Order becomes available after it was made.
Right to Apply to the Court
Under Article 31(12) of the Health Professions Order 2001, you may apply to the appropriate court to revoke or vary the conditions imposed
