Allegation

As a registered Radiographer (RA37573) your fitness to practise is impaired by reason of misconduct in that: 

1. Between 2014 and February 2020, you made comments towards staff which were inappropriate, in that; 

a. In or around 2014 or 2015 when a black woman arrived at reception, you:

I. informed Colleague 5 that their mum was at the front desk,

II. said, “yeah but she looks like a ********”, or words to that effect. 

2. Between 2008 and February 2020, you behaved towards staff in a manner which was inappropriate, in that; a. you have asked younger members of staff whether they have had “black ****”, or words to that effect, 

b. you have asked younger members of staff “did you get some over the weekend”, or words to that effect, 

c. you showed members of staff obscene photos on your mobile phone without prior permission, 

d. you have touched and/or slapped your fellow colleagues’ buttocks, 

e. you have touched your fellow colleagues’ breast, 

f. you informed staff of your sexual exploits,

g. you referred to Colleague 5’s younger brother as “****” or words to that effect

h. you asked Colleague 4 in relation to another colleague, “you want to **** him don’t you”, or words to that effect,

i. Between approximately 2017 and 2018, you sent Colleague 5 pictures of your partners’ genitals, 

j. you sent a message to Colleague 5’s ex-partner asking, “how much would you charge”, or words to that effect, 

k. you asked Colleague 2 to rub your shoulders and/or massage you, 

l. Colleague 2 entered the changing room whilst you were in the middle of getting changed and were at the time wearing only your boxers. A conversation took place, during which you; 

I. blew Colleague 2 a kiss, 

II. said “I have been waiting for you”, or words to that effect,

III. asked “had you got ****** over the weekend”, or words to that effect, 

IV. asked Colleague 2 whether he had ever had a sexual experience with a man, 

V. you told asked Colleague 2 if they “like ****”, or words to that effect, 

VI. you asked Colleague 2 whether they “like sucking *****”, or words to that effect, 

VII. you said to Colleague 2, “being Asian, you would have a small ***** anyway”, or words to that effect, m. you followed a maintenance worker into a toilet cubicle, 

n. you asked Colleague 2 whether being Indian meant he had a small ***** , or words to that effect 

o. In or around 2008 you said “here comes Colleague 7, the **** licker”, or words to that effect 

p. In or around 2017 and 2018, you asked Colleague 5 to tell her son, who was between 1 and 3 years old at the time, to call you when he turned 18 as you thought he was very handsome 

3. Between August 2015 and February 2020, you did not communicate professionally, in that; 

a. Between around February 2017 and December 2018 you asked Colleague 5, “how do you get the guys you do, despite your looks”, or words to that effect, 

b. you made offensive comments towards Colleague 5 regarding their appearance, 

c. In or around August 2015 when Colleague 5 informed you that they had separated from their partner whilst pregnant, you made inappropriate jokes relating to: 

I. Colleague 5’s child being a “*******”, or words to that effect, 

II. Colleague 5 being a single parent. 

d. whilst eating in the staff room, you said to colleague 5 “you shouldn’t be eating that due to your weight”, or words to that effect, 

e. In or around January 2020 after bragging about being called a sadist by a patient, Colleague 10 asked whether you were proud of this, you responded with “I enjoy making people miserable”, or words to that effect, 

f. you stated that you “had a bad childhood and liked to make people miserable”, or words to that effect, 

g. In or around January 2020 upon them entering the reporting room, you said “ooh Colleague 7, I thought you had died”, or words to that effect, 

h. In October 2019 whilst attending a study day, during a conversation with Colleague 7’s junior colleagues, you said, “maybe she will get Malaria or Ebola, as that would shut her up”, or words to that effect, 

i. when Colleague 4 was due to visit theatres, you said “oh you like going to theatre don’t you, but do they like you”, or words to that effect. 

4. Between 2008 and February 2020, you did not maintain appropriate professional boundaries, in that: 

a. On 29 July 2015 you took a photo of Colleague 5 without their knowledge and/or consent, 

b. On 29 July 2015 you took a photo of Colleague 5 and zoomed in to show they had a double chin, 

c. In or around 2019 you spread rumours that colleague 7 was unsuccessful in obtaining a job, 

d. you grabbed Colleague 4’s arm during an unrelated conversation and by digging your nails into their skin you scratched their arm around an area which was affected by psoriasis, 

e. In or around 2008 or 2009, you exposed your genitals to Colleague 7 to show her a rash you had. 

5. You did not inform the HCPC in a timely manner that you were suspended on 25 February 2020. 

6. Your conduct in relation to any or all of particulars 2a to 2p was sexual and/or sexually motivated. 

7. Your conduct at any or all of particulars 1a, 1b, 2a, 2l(vii), and/or 2n were racist and/or racially motivated.

8. Your conduct in relation to Particular 5 above was dishonest. 

9. The matters set out at any or all of particulars 1 to 8 above constitute misconduct. 

10. By reason of your misconduct, your fitness to practise is impaired.
