Mr John E Banks

1. On or around 21 December 2015, made the following inappropriate and / or offensive comments to colleagues:

a) “Size does matter, doesn’t it, you know it does, don’t you?”, or words to that effect;

b) “You won't understand that... What he's trying to say is... Ching, chong, chang, wing, hung, ding, jong, dong”, or words to that effect.

2. On an unknown date said “Chinese do not speak English only numbers; number 69, 24, etc.”, or words to that effect;

3. On or around 20 September 2013, after seeing the result of a Patient’s CT scan, sang “he’s got a hole in his head, dear Liza”, or words to that effect.

4. On or around 2 October 2018, made an inappropriate comment to a colleague when you said “w*****” in a hospital corridor.

5. On or around 13 September 2013, made an inappropriate comment about a colleague when you said “put me in a room with him and he will come out with no legs”, or words to that effect.

6. The matters set out in paragraphs 1 - 5 constitute misconduct.

7. By reason of your misconduct, your fitness to practise is impaired.
