Order
The Registrar is directed to annotate the HCPC Register to show that, for a period of 12 months from the date that this Order takes effect (“the Operative Date”), you, Miss Katie Shinner, must comply with the following conditions of practice:
i. You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to these conditions:
a. any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;
b. any prospective employer at the time of your application.
ii. Before any further review, you must:
a. undertake and satisfactorily complete a return to practice programme relevant to Paramedic practice and accredited by the HCPC; and
b. forward a copy of your results to the HCPC.
iii. You must place yourself and remain under the supervision of a workplace supervisor, registered as a Paramedic and attend upon that supervisor, at least monthly or as required, and follow that supervisor’s advice and recommendations.
iv. Prior to any future review, you must provide to the HCPC a proficiency report from that supervisor.
v. You must register with and remain under the care of a General Practitioner and/or Occupational Health Specialist.
vi. You must inform your General Practitioner and/or Occupational Health Specialist about these conditions of practice and authorise that person to provide the HCPC, before your next review, with a report about your mental health condition and any treatment you are receiving or have been receiving.
vii. You must keep your professional commitments under review and limit your professional practice in accordance with the advice of your General Practitioner and/or Occupational Health Specialist.
viii. You must cease practising immediately if you are advised to do so by your General Practitioner and/or Occupational Health Specialist.
ix. You must promptly inform the HCPC if you cease to be employed by your current employer or take up any other or further employment.
x. You must promptly inform the HCPC of any disciplinary proceedings taken against you by your employer.

The Order imposed today will apply from 10 April 2021.
This Order will be reviewed again before its expiry on 10 April 2022.
