Allegation
While registered as a Biomedical Scientist with the Health and Care Professions Council and during your employment with NHS Lanarkshire, you:
1. On the following dates, attended work whilst unfit through alcohol and/or drugs:
a. 12 July 2017;
b. 04 August 2017;
c. 09 August 2017.
2. On 08 August 2017, whilst working a late shift, attended a local supermarket, where you purchased two bottles of wine which you consumed, before returning to work.
3. Your actions as set out in paragraphs 1 - 2 amount to misconduct.
4. By reason of that misconduct your fitness to practise as a Biomedical Scientist is impaired.
