ORDER: The Interim Conditions of Practice Order that was made on 21 February 2023, as varied on 22 May 2023, is confirmed. The Order is as follows:

1. You must not carry out any private practice work as a physiotherapist on self-employed basis;

2. You must not carry out any on-call work;

3. You must work on-site for any in-person consultations as directed by your employer;

4. You must not treat any female patient, whether in person or by video conferencing, or telephone consultation without a chaperone, provided by your employer being present. The chaperone does not need to be registered with the HCPC.

5. Where you have treated a female patient either in person or by video conference, or by telephone consultation you must keep a record of each female patient you have treated and have this countersigned by the chaperone;

6. You must provide a copy of these records to the HCPC 14 days before the date of the next review hearing or, alternatively, confirm that there have been no such cases during that period. You must make these records available for inspection at all reasonable times by any person authorised to act on behalf of the HCPC;

7. You must promptly inform the HCPC if you cease to be employed by your current employer or take up any other or further employment;

8. You must promptly inform the HCPC of any disciplinary proceedings taken against you by your employer;

9. You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to these conditions:

A. any organisation employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;

B. any agency you are registered with or apply to be registered with (at the time of application); and

C. any prospective employer (at the time of application).

This order will be reviewed by the Committee no later than 20 March 2024 or earlier if new evidence which is relevant to the Order becomes available after it was made.
