Order

The Registrar is directed to annotate the HCPC Register to show that, for a period of eighteen months from the date of this Order you, Ryan Williams, must comply with the following interim conditions of practice:

1. You must place yourself and remain under the indirect supervision of a workplace supervisor, who must be a registered health care professional and supply details of your supervisor to the HCPC within two weeks of the date of this order.
2. You must attend upon that supervisor ideally on a weekly basis or four supervisions within each monthly period, and follow their advice and recommendations.
3. You must confine your professional practice to working with your current employer (the Network) or with only one employer. This precludes working as a bank worker.
4. You must not work in a supervisor or mentor capacity with junior members of staff except with the express permission of your line manager.
5. You must not contact colleagues in a personal capacity through electronic media or any other means outside of work.
6. You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you cease to be employed by your current employer (the Network).
7. You must inform the HCPC seven days before you take up any professional work which requires your registration.
8. You must inform the HCPC within seven days of becoming aware of:

a. any patient safety incident you are involved in;
b. any investigation started against you; and
c. any disciplinary proceedings taken against you.

9. You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to these conditions:

a. any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;
b. any agency you are registered with or apply to be registered with to undertake professional work (at the time of application);
c. any prospective employer for professional work (at the time of your application);
d. any organisation through which you are undertaking professional training;

10. You must allow the HCPC to share, as necessary, details about your performance, compliance with, and/or progress under these conditions with:

a. any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;
b. any agency you are registered with or apply to be registered with to undertake professional work (at the time of application)
c. any prospective employer for professional work (at the time of your application);
d. any organisation through which you are undertaking professional training;

11. You must work with your supervisor to formulate a Personal Development Plan designed to address the deficiencies in the following areas of your practice:

a. Maintaining appropriate boundaries with colleagues
b. Showing respect and sensitivity in your relationships with colleagues
c. Being aware of your conduct towards colleagues and its impact on them.

12. Within three months of this Order you must forward a copy of your Personal Development Plan to the HCPC.
13. You must meet with your supervisor on a weekly basis or four times in each monthly period to consider your progress towards achieving the aims set out in your Personal Development Plan.
14. You must allow your supervisor to provide information to the HCPC about your progress towards achieving the aims set out in your Personal Development Plan.
15. You must write a reflective piece to evidence what you have learnt and how you have applied the learning to your practice. You must provide a copy of that reflective piece to a future reviewing panel.

Notes

This order will be reviewed by the Committee no later than 15 June 2024 or earlier if new evidence which is relevant to the order becomes available after it was made.
