Order

The Registrar is directed to annotate the Register on an interim basis to show that, for a period of 18 months, you, Mr Richard Gough, must comply with the following conditions of practice:

1. You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to these conditions:
A. any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;
B. any agency you are registered with or apply to be registered with to undertake professional work (at the time of application);
C. any prospective employer for professional work (at the time of your application).

2. You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you take up any professional work.
3. You must inform the HCPC within seven days of becoming aware of:
A. any investigation started against you;
B. any disciplinary proceedings taken against you; and
C. any workplace grievance brought against you.

4. You must provide the HCPC with the contact details of your general practitioner within seven days from when the conditions take effect.

5. You must inform your general practitioner about these conditions of practice and authorise that person to provide the HCPC with information about your health and any treatment you are receiving within four weeks of your first review (24 May 2024).

6. You must place yourself and remain under the supervision of a workplace supervisor registered by the HCPC or other appropriate statutory regulator and supply details of your supervisor to the HCPC within one month of your start date.

7. You must meet with your workplace supervisor on a monthly basis and follow their advice and recommendations with regards to
1) communication with colleagues;
2) professionalism in the workplace; and
3) maintaining professional boundaries.

8. You must formulate a personal development plan to evidence continuous professional development addressing the following areas:
1.) communication with colleagues;
2.) professionalism in the workplace; and
3.) maintaining professional boundaries. You must discuss this plan with your workplace supervisor at your monthly meetings.

9. You must provide a copy of the updated development plan to the HCPC at least four weeks prior to any review of this Order.
10. You must not contact former colleagues from Totally PLC of Vocare.

11. You must limit your communications with workplace colleagues to communications within the workplace within working hours.

12. Save in an emergency, you should not contact your workplace colleagues outside working hours (including via social media) unless such contact is approved by your supervisor. Any such approved contact should be recorded in writing and discussed at the monthly meeting with your supervisor.

13. Any condition requiring you to provide any information to the HCPC is to be met by your sending the information to the offices of the HCPC, marked for the attention of the relevant Case Manager.

Notes

This order will be reviewed by the Committee no later than 24 May 2024 or earlier if new evidence which is relevant to the Order becomes available after it was made.
