Order
Order: The Registrar is directed to annotate the Register on an interim basis to show that, for a period of 18 months, you, Mr Ben England, must comply with the following conditions of practice:
1. You must confine your clinical practice as a Paramedic, to working with your present employer, namely Green House Surgery. In your capacity as a Paramedic, you must not work for any other employer and you must not undertake any agency work.
2. Except in life threatening emergencies you must not undertake any clinical work as a Paramedic with involves any contact, including by telephone, with any service user under the age of 18.
3. In every case where you have been involved in clinical work of a life threatening nature to a service user under the age of 18, you must maintain a written record of such work. That record must be submitted to your work place supervisor within 24 hours of such clinical work having been undertaken. The written record must be disclosed at the next and any subsequent review hearing.
4. You must place yourself and remain under the supervision of a workplace supervisor registered by the HCPC or by any other health care regulator, appointed by Green House Surgery. You must supply the details of your supervisor to the HCPC within 14 days of today. You must attend upon that supervisor as required and follow that person’s instructions, advice and recommendations.
5. You must have regular meetings with your workplace supervisor as may be required by that supervisor, in order to review your compliance with these Conditions.
6. You must produce a report from your workplace supervisor as to your compliance with these Conditions. This report must be furnished to the HCPC not less than 7 days before the next and any subsequent review hearing.
7. You must promptly inform the HCPC of any disciplinary proceedings taken against you by your employer, within 5 working days.
8. You must promptly inform the HCPC, within 5 working days, if you have been charged with any criminal offence and in particular any offence arising from the police investigations currently underway.
9. You must inform the HCPC, within 5 working days, if you cease to be employed by Green House Surgery.
10. You must promptly inform Green House Surgery that your registration is subject to these conditions.
Notes
This Interim order will be reviewed by the Committee no later than 27 February 2025 or earlier if new evidence which is relevant to the order becomes available.
