Order

ORDER: The Registrar is directed to annotate the Register on an interim basis to show that, for a period of 18 months, you, Kritika Godiyal, must comply with the following conditions of practice:

(1) You must confine any work you undertake for which your HCPC registration is required, to be work within a paediatric setting.

(2) You must not undertake any manual handling activities unless there is physically present another member of staff who is a registered OT, Physiotherapist or Nurse.

(3) You are only to work as an OT when directly supervised. “Direct supervision” means that you are not to work as a single-handed practitioner; your supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of your work are subject to oversight from a qualified and appropriate professional (who does not have to be your supervisor personally).

(4) You must place yourself under the supervision of a supervisor registered with the HCPC or other appropriate statutory regulator. You are to meet with your supervisor as and when required by the supervisor, but in any event not less than every 28 days.

(5) You must inform the HCPC within 14 days of today’s date details of your supervisor.

(6) Every two months starting from today’s dates you are to obtain from your supervisor and submit to the HCPC, confirmation in writing that these conditions are being complied with.

(7) You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you cease to be employed by your current employer.

(8) You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you take up any other or further professional work.

(9) You must inform the HCPC within seven days of becoming aware of:

a. any patient safety incident you are involved in;
b. any investigation started against you;
c. any disciplinary proceedings taken against you.

(10) You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to these conditions:

a. any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;
b. any agency you are registered with or apply to be registered with to undertake professional work (at the time of application);
c. any prospective employer for professional work (at the time of your application);
d. any organisation through which you are undertaking professional training.

Notes

This order will be reviewed by the Committee no later than 13 September 2024 or earlier if new evidence which is relevant to the Order becomes available after it was made.
