Order

ORDER: The Interim Conditions of Practice Order made on 14 May 2024 is varied. The conditions are:
1. You must place yourself and remain under the indirect supervision of a workplace supervisor registered by the HCPC or other appropriate statutory regulator and supply details of your supervisor to the HCPC within 7 days. You must attend upon that supervisor as required and follow their advice and/or recommendations.


2. Having placed yourself under indirect supervision of a workplace supervisor, you must provide a copy of your supervisory notes and/or written records to the HCPC at least 14 days prior to any review hearing.


3. You must not undertake musculoskeletal ultrasound scans, except under the direct supervision of a Radiographer or Doctor who is fully qualified in musculoskeletal ultrasound and who is registered by the HCPC or another appropriate statutory regulator.


4. You must not autonomously report on musculoskeletal ultrasound scan findings.


5. You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you cease to be employed by your current employer.


6. You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you take up any other or further professional work.


7. You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to these conditions:

A. any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;

B. any agency you are registered with or apply to be registered with to undertake professional work (at the time of application);

C. any prospective employer for professional work (at the time of your application);

D. any organisation through which you are undertaking professional training.

Notes

This order will be reviewed by the Committee no later than 15 February 2025 or earlier if new evidence which is relevant to the Order becomes available after it was made.

Right to Apply to the Court

Under Article 31(12) of the Health Professions Order 2001, you may apply to the appropriate court to revoke or vary the conditions imposed.
