As a registered Radiographer (RA084939):

1. Between January 2023 and June 2023, whilst working at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, you were unable to communicate effectively as both your spoken/written understanding of the English Language was poor. In that:

a. You provided incorrect information to service users and/or staff role playing service users.

b. You were unable to verify correct patient ID as required by IR(ME)R regulations.

c. You answered service user and/or staff role playing service users queries despite not understanding the questions being asked.

2. On 18 April 2023 you fell asleep when on duty for your employer, whilst in potential sight of service users.

3. On or around 27 August 2020 you completed your HCPC registration application form and ticked the relevant box to declare that English is your first language, despite that not being the case.

4. Your actions at particular 3 were dishonest in that you knew that by lying on your application form you would avoid having to prove your English proficiency.

5. The matters set out at particular 1 above constitute lack of competence.

6. The matters set out at particulars 2, 3, and 4 above constitute misconduct.

7. By reason of the above matters, your fitness to practise is impaired by reason of lack of competence and misconduct.
