Order

ORDER: The Registrar is directed to annotate the Register on an interim basis to show that for a period of 12 months, you, Lucy Harrison must comply with the following conditions of practice:

1. You must only undertake any activities for which your HCPC registration is required if you do so under the auspices of an organisation that will provide you with a line manager.

2. Upon securing any work that you can undertake in compliance with condition (1), you must within 7 days inform the HCPC in writing of the name of the organisation and of the designated line manager.

3. Before you undertake any work with a service user on any given day, you must make contact with the line manager provided by the organisation you are working for on that day. For the avoidance of doubt, the contact may be made either in person or virtually by video conferencing. If the designated line manager is not available on a day on which you are due to undertake work with a service user, then the contact may be made with a person nominated by the line manager for that purpose.

4. Before the review of this Order, you must send to the HCPC a document prepared by your line manager(s) confirming that you have complied with condition (3).

5. You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to these conditions:

a. any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;

b. any agency you are registered with or apply to be registered with to undertake professional work (at the time of application);

c. any prospective employer for professional work (at the time of your application);

d. any organisation through which you are undertaking professional training which involves direct patient access;

6. You must allow the HCPC to share, as necessary, details about your performance, compliance with, and/or progress under these conditions with:

a. any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;

b. any agency you are registered with or apply to be registered with to undertake professional work (at the time of application);

c. any prospective employer for professional work (at the time of your application);

d. any organisation through which you are undertaking professional training;

7. You must inform the HCPC within seven days of becoming aware of:

a. any patient safety incident you are involved in;

b. any investigation started against you;

c. and any disciplinary proceedings taken against you.

11. When you undertake any work for which your HCPC registration is required, you must undertake clinical supervision not less frequently than monthly, and before any review of this Order provide a report from that supervisor to the HCPC.

Notes

This order will be reviewed by the Committee no later than 20 February 2026 or earlier if new evidence which is relevant to the Order becomes available after it was made.
