ORDER: The Interim Conditions of Practice Order imposed on 18 January 2024 is to be varied as set out below:

1. You must not provide telephone or virtual clinical assessments of service users.

2.
i. You must place yourself and remain under the supervision of a workplace supervisor specifically a Physiotherapist registered with the HCPC. That supervisor may be Mr Blythe. You must meet (in person or virtually) with that supervisor, as required by the supervisor, and follow their advice and recommendations.
ii. You must arrange for your supervisor to undertake five roleplays of subjective assessments of service users with you in either a virtual or face-to-face setting. These roleplays should include a demonstration of your understanding of identifying red flags when undertaking subjective assessments of service users in a clinic setting.
iii. You must notify the HCPC of any change to your supervisor. The supervisor must send to the HCPC seven days before the date of the next hearing a report detailing the following;
• The scenarios of each roleplay
• How you demonstrated your identification of the red flags in each scenario
• Your understanding of the correct assessment techniques.

3. You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you take up work requiring registration with a professional body outside the United Kingdom.

4. You must inform the HCPC within seven days of becoming aware of:
a. any patient safety incident you are involved in;
b. any investigation started against you; and
c. any disciplinary proceedings taken against you.

5. You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to these conditions:
A. any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;
B. any agency you are registered with or apply to be registered with to undertake professional work (at the time of application);
C. any prospective employer for professional work (at the time of your application).

6. You must allow the HCPC to share, as necessary, details about your performance, compliance with, and/or progress under these conditions with:
A. any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;
B. any agency you are registered with or apply to be registered with to undertake professional work (at the time of application);
C. any prospective employer for professional work (at the time of your application)

This Order will be reviewed by the Committee no later than 30 April 2025 or earlier if new evidence which is relevant to the Order becomes available after it was made.
