Order
ORDER: The Registrar is directed to impose the following conditions on the registration of Mr Benjamin Denham for the remainder of the period of the Order (namely until 11 April 2026).
1. You must restrict your employment to T.W.G. Medics for the purposes of providing professional services as a Paramedic.
2. You must place yourself and remain under the direct supervision of a Paramedic registered by the HCPC and supply details of your supervisor to the HCPC within 14 days of the operative date. You must attend upon that supervisor as required and follow their advice and recommendations.
3. You must not make or implement any decision to discharge a patient from care unless that decision has been discussed with, and approved by, your supervisor or another suitably qualified Paramedic working with you on the same shift. The supervisor or colleague must co-sign the relevant patient records.
4. You must arrange for monthly supervision meetings with your supervisor to consider your progress in addressing the following areas of concern:
a. record-keeping;
b. accuracy of clinical documentation;
c. patient assessment;
d. discharge decision-making.
5. You must obtain from your supervisor a report describing your clinical performance, record-keeping and engagement with supervision, and you must submit that report to the HCPC two weeks before the date of the review of this interim conditions of practice order.
6. You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you cease to be employed by T.W.G. Medics.
7. You must inform the HCPC within seven days of becoming aware of:
a. any patient safety incident you are involved in;
b. any investigation started against you;
c. any disciplinary proceedings taken against you.
8. You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to these conditions:
a. any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work, such notification to be made as soon as possible.
9. You must allow the HCPC to share, as necessary, details about your performance, compliance with, and/or progress under these conditions with:
a. any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work.
Notes
This Order will be reviewed by the Committee no later than 24 December 2025, or earlier if new evidence which is relevant to the Order becomes available after it was made.
