Order
ORDER: The Interim Conditions of Practice Order imposed on 16 April 2025 is varied as follows:
1. You must not act as an expert witness/provide expert advice or reports for the purposes of any legal proceedings in your capacity as a registered professional.
2. You must identify one or more supervisor(s), who must be aware of your current workplace, and communicate the identity of the individual(s) whom you choose to the HCPC. The selected supervisor(s) must be a registered Practitioner Psychologist with the HCPC.
3.You must work with your supervisor to formulate a Personal Development Plan designed to address the following areas of your practice:
i. time management;
ii. accuracy and appropriate citation in report writing;
iii. maintaining appropriate records; and
iv. client care.
4. You must meet with your supervisor(s) on a monthly basis to consider your progress towards achieving the aims set out in your Personal Development Plan.
5. You must arrange for your supervisor(s) to prepare a written report on the review they have undertaken on your monthly meetings and your progress towards achieving the aims set out in your Personal Development Plan. You must submit the supervisor(s)’ report to the HCPC before any review of this Order
6. You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you secure employment in a registered role, providing details of your employer and details of your registered role.
7. You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you take up any other or further work in a registered role.
8. You must inform the HCPC within seven days of becoming aware of:
A. any patient safety incident you are involved in;
B. any investigation started against you; and
C. any disciplinary proceedings taken against you.
9. You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to these conditions:
A. any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;
B. any agency you are registered with or apply to be registered with to undertake professional work (at the time of application);
C. any prospective employer for professional work (at the time of your application);
D. any organisation through which you are undertaking professional training; and
E. any supervisor required by these conditions.
10. You must allow the HCPC to share, as necessary, details about your performance, compliance with, and/or progress under these conditions with:
A.any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;
B. any agency you are registered with or apply to be registered with to undertake professional work (at the time of application);
C. any prospective employer for professional work (at the time of your application); and
D. any organisation through which you are undertaking professional training.
Notes
This Order will be reviewed by the Committee no later than 25 November 2026 or earlier if new evidence which is relevant to the Order becomes available after it was made.
