Order
ORDER: The Registrar is directed to annotate the Register on an interim basis to show that, for a period of 12 months, you, Ashley Richardson, must comply with the following conditions of practice:
1. You must not work in a management role or in a role requiring oversight of, or responsibility for, junior colleagues.
2. You must not be involved in the provision of education or mentoring.
3. Within one week of the commencement of employment, you must place yourself and remain under the indirect supervision (that a supervisor must be on shift at all times when you are working) of a HCPC registered Paramedic.
4. You must meet with your supervisor every fortnight to discuss the importance of professional boundaries, the impact of power imbalances in the workplace, and sexual safety in the workplace.
5. You must work with your supervisor to formulate a Personal Development Plan designed to address the areas of the importance of professional boundaries, the impact of power imbalances in the workplace, and sexual safety in the workplace.
6. You must arrange for the provision of reports from your supervisor to the HCPC at least seven days prior to every review of this order, addressing your discussions in respect of the following areas in your Personal Development Plan: the importance of professional boundaries, the impact of power imbalances in the workplace, and sexual safety in the workplace.
7. You must undergo training on professional boundaries. Such training course must be HCPC-recognised.
8. You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you cease to be employed by your employer.
9. You must inform the HCPC within seven days of becoming aware of:
any investigation started against you; and
any disciplinary proceedings taken against you.
10. You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to these conditions:
1. any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;
2. any organisation through which you are undertaking professional training;
3. any supervisor required by these conditions;
4. any prospective employer for professional work (at the time of your application)
11. You must allow the HCPC to share, as necessary, details about your performance, compliance with, and/or progress under these conditions with:
1. any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;
2. any organisation through which you are undertaking professional training.
12. You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you take up work requiring registration with a professional body outside of the UK.
13. You must inform the HCPC within seven days of returning to practice in the UK.
Notes
This order will be reviewed by the Committee no later than 27 August 2026 or earlier if new evidence which is relevant to the Order becomes available after it was made.
