Order

ORDER: The Interim Conditions of Practice Order made on 29 August 2025 is varied as follows:

1.    You must confine your professional practice to only working for one substantive NHS employer.
2.    You must not undertake the provision of physiotherapy services on any female service users. You must confine your physiotherapy practice to adult male service users. 
3.    You must not undertake any out-of-hours work or on-call duties.
4.    You must not carry out professional work in a private practice setting.
5.    You must not carry out visits to a service user’s private residence.
6.    You must place yourself and remain under the indirect supervision of a workplace physiotherapist supervisor registered by the HCPC and supply details of your supervisor to the HCPC within 7 days of the Operative Date. You must attend upon that supervisor as required and follow their advice and recommendations.
7.    You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you cease to be employed by your current employer.
8.    You must inform the HCPC immediately if you take up any professional work.
9.    You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you take up work requiring registration with a professional body outside the United Kingdom.
10.    You must inform the HCPC within seven days of becoming aware of:
A.    any patient safety incident you are involved in;
B.    any investigation started against you; and
C.    any disciplinary proceedings taken against you.

11.    You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to these conditions:
A.    any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;
B.    any agency you are registered with or apply to be registered with to undertake professional work (at the time of application);
C.    any prospective employer for professional work (at the time of your application);
D.    any    organisation    through    which    you    are    undertaking professional training;

12.    You must allow the HCPC to share, as necessary, details about your performance, compliance with, and/or progress under these conditions with:
A.    any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;
B.    any agency you are registered with or apply to be registered with to undertake professional work (at the time of application);
C.    any prospective employer for professional work (at the time of your application);
D.    any    organisation    through    which    you    are    undertaking professional training.

Notes

This order will be reviewed by the Committee no later than 27 May 2026 or earlier if new evidence which is relevant to the Order becomes available after it was made.

Right to Apply to the Court
Under Article 31(12) of the Health Professions Order 2001, you may apply to the appropriate court to terminate the order and/or revoke or vary the conditions imposed.
