Allegation
As a registered Paramedic (PA43221):
- On or around 9 March 2020, you did not communicate professionally, in that you stated, in relation to Colleague B, “she’s going back to her boyfriends, we all know what she’s going to be doing”, or words to that effect.
2. Your comment at particular 1 was sexual in nature and / or sexually motivated.
3. On or around 9 March 2020, you drove an ambulance in an unsafe and erratic manner without due cause. 4. On or around 16 August 2020, you did not communicate professionally with Colleague A, in that when Colleague A asked you for help with navigating to a call, you stated, “you are the driver, it is your responsibility and your job to sort it out, I told you to do a right before and you didn’t listen. I’m doing my paperwork”, or words to that effect.
5. On or around 16 August 2020, you did not communicate professionally, in that you said to Patient X:
a. “If you want to call me a ***, then I can call you a * too”, or words to that effect. b. “If you tell me to ** off, I’ll tell you to off too”, or words to that effect. c. “I bet you don’t have many men kneeling for you”, or words to that effect. d. “where is it you go nowadays, Hampstead Heath? What does it cost, £20?”, or words to that effect?
e. “when did you last have ***” and/or “when did you last masturbate, I need to ask you this as well” or words to that effect.
6. Your comments at Particular 5c and/or 5d and/or 5e were sexual in nature.
7. On or around 16 August 2020 you did not act in Patient X’s best interests in that you did not offer Patient X a blanket or sheet to cover themselves when they walked to the ambulance without clothes.
8. On or around 17 September 2020, you did not communicate professionally with Colleague C in that Colleague C stated, “we will be worked off our arses today” and you replied, “you wouldn’t mind that would you”, or words to that effect.
9. Your comment at particular 8 was sexual in nature and / or sexually motivated.
10. On 9 July 2021, you were convicted at West and Central Hertfordshire Magistrates’ Court for using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress thereby Contrary to section 5(1) and (6) of the Public Order Act 1986.
11. The matters set out in particular 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and/or 9 above constitutes misconduct.
12. By reason of the matters set out above, your fitness to practise is impaired by reason of your misconduct and/or conviction.
