Order

ORDER: The Interim Conditions of Practice Order imposed on 27 November 2025 is confirmed to the following effect:
You, Shepherd Ambanasom, must comply with the following interim conditions of practice:
1. You must not carry out professional work as a sole practitioner or be involved in the ownership or management of your own private practice.
2. Except in life threatening emergencies, you must not be involved in the direct provision of services to female service users without a chaperone being present. This chaperone must not be a spouse, family member or business partner. If the chaperone is not a registered healthcare professional, they must have had chaperone training.
3. You must maintain a record of:
a. every case where you have been involved in the direct provision of services to female service users, in each case signed by the chaperone and containing their name; and
b. every case where you have been involved in the direct provision of services to such service users in a life threatening emergency and without a chaperone being present.
4. You must provide a copy of these records to the HCPC seven days before any future review hearing or, alternatively, confirm that there have been no such cases during that period and must make those records available for inspection at all reasonable times by any person authorised to act on behalf of the HCPC.
5. You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you take up any other or further professional work.
6. You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you take up work requiring registration with a professional body outside the United Kingdom.
7. You must inform the HCPC within seven days of returning to practice in the United Kingdom.
8. You must inform the HCPC within seven days of becoming aware of:
a. any patient safety incident you are involved in;
b. any investigation started against you; and
c. any disciplinary proceedings taken against you.
9. You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to these conditions:
a. any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;
b. any agency you are registered with or apply to be registered with to undertake professional work (at the time of application);
c. any prospective employer for professional work (at the time of your application);
d. any organisation through which you are undertaking professional training;
10. You must allow the HCPC to share, as necessary, details about your performance, compliance with, and/or progress under these conditions with:
a. any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;
b. any agency you are registered with or apply to be registered with to undertake professional work (at the time of application);
c. any prospective employer for professional work (at the time of your application);
d. any organisation through which you are undertaking professional training.

Notes

This Order will be reviewed by the Committee no later than 9 September 2026 or earlier if new evidence which is relevant to the Order becomes available after it was made.

Right to Apply to the Court
Under Article 31(12) of the Health Professions Order 2001, you may apply to the appropriate court to revoke or vary the conditions imposed
