As a registered Hearing aid dispenser (HAD03743): 
1. On 24 July 2023, you misused customer data by contacting 947 Action for Deafness (AFD) patients to offer services for private ear wax removal from your new company.

2. On 18 September 2024, you were convicted at the Crawley magistrates’ court for knowingly and/or recklessly retaining personal data without consent of the controller. 

3. Your conduct at particular 1 above was dishonest, in that you; 
a. Knew that you did not have authorisation to use the data; and/or 
b. Sought to financially benefit from your misuse of service user data.

4. The matters set out in particulars 1 and 3 above constitute misconduct. 

5. By reason of the matters set out above, your fitness to practise is impaired by reason of misconduct and/or Conviction.
