The Interim Conditions of Practice Order made on 23 January 2020 and varied on 17 July 2020 will continue. The conditions are:

1. You must not be involved in the direct provision of services to female service users without a female chaperone being present, except in life threatening emergencies. This includes conducting consultations remotely.

2. You must maintain a record of every case where you have been involved in the direct provision of services to female service users, in each case signed by the chaperone.

3. You must provide a copy of these records to the HCPC within 3 months of this order being imposed and 14 days before the next review.

4. You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to these conditions:

(1) any organisation or person employing you to undertake professional work as a physiotherapist;

(2) any organisation or person contracting with you to undertake professional work as a physiotherapist;

(3) any organisation or person contracting with your employer for you to undertake professional work as a physiotherapist;

(4) any agency you are registered with or apply to be registered with (at the time of application);

(5) any prospective employer at the time of your application;

5. You must within seven days inform the HCPC if you cease to be employed by an employer or take up any other or further employment (including agency work).

6. You must notify the HCPC within seven days of any disciplinary proceedings taken against you by an employer.

7. You will be responsible for meeting any and all costs associated with complying with these conditions.

This order will be reviewed by the Committee no later than 8 April 2021 or earlier if new evidence which is relevant to the Order becomes available after it was made.
