Finding

Hearing in Private

  1. Ms Sampson on behalf of the HCPC, applied for the entirety of this hearing to be conducted in private. She submitted that as the matters related to the health of the Registrant, the entirety of the hearing should be in private.

  2. The Panel took into account the HCPTS Practice Note entitled “Conducting Hearings in Private” and accepted the advice of the Legal Assessor. The Panel accepted that the health of the Registrant was fundamental to the matters to be determined in this review. Accordingly the entirety of the hearing should be conducted in private.

  3. As such, this is the redacted version of the determination.

Order

ORDER: The Registrar is directed to impose a Suspension Order against the registration of Hannah Hochland for a period of 12 months from the expiry of the existing order.

Notes

The Order imposed today will apply from 08 January 2022

This Order will be reviewed again before its expiry on 08 January 2023.
